Can I keep my current domain name? 
 
Yes. If you let us know the details of your domain name’s registrar, we will contact them and take care of the transfer process, with no loss of service.

What will happen to my e-mail? 
 
You have two options. Most clients transfer their e-mail services to us, allowing them to benefit from the spam filtering technology on our e-mail servers. Alternatively, we can leave your e-mail with your current provider, which is useful if you currently have an Exchange server.

Why do I have to switch to your hosting? 
 
With our hosting you gain access to our unique editing system, giving you complete control over your site, with the ability to change the content, optimise it for search engines, and use of the website management tools. 
 
Our editing system runs on our own dedicated servers at a secure data centre in Manchester. By controlling the entire ‘stack’ — the editing system, the server operating system, and the server hardware — we are able to offer a faster, more reliable product.

How do I sell on my website? 
 
Selling online is made simple with our it’seeze commerce package. Our advanced e-commerce system makes it easy for customers to buy through your website. You can upgrade from the basic website package to the webshop package at any time.

What payment options do you support? 
 
Our e-commerce system is integrated with PayPal, SagePay, and WorldPay. There is also an offline payment option, allowing you to take payment over the telephone, by cheque, or by any other offline method. If you require integration with another payment method we may be able to add support, for a single one-off cost.

Why do I have to pay a monthly fee? 
 
For your monthly fee you are the proud owner of a professionally design business website, with access to our unique editing system, and you’ll never have to pay an expensive web designer to change your site. The editing system is constantly updated with new features, and you receive all of these at no extra cost. You also have support from a local consultant and access to an expert team at our head office. 
 
The fee includes all hosting, and renewal of a domain name. Our advanced hosting at a secure data centre in Manchester ensures your site is served fast and reliably. All our servers are mirrored to servers that will take over in the event of hardware failure, and all our sites are backed up daily to servers outside of the data centre.

What extra costs are there? 
 
None at all if you’re happy with our website or e-commerce packages. We do however offer bespoke work to make your site a little more special — perhaps you'd like some animation, a new logo design, or a bespoke application developed for your site. All you need to do is ask your local consultant.

Do I need any special software to edit my site? 
 
No. You can edit your site in any modern web browser, such as Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Internet Explorer. You can edit your website wherever you are in the world — all you need is a computer with a web browser and an internet connection.

How many pages can my website have? 
 
With our full packages (Max and Commerce), you can have as many as you want. While some companies charge per page, we let you have hundreds or thousands of pages for the same low cost. Our editing system makes it easy to keep a consistent design across your site, and pages can be grouped into categories, subcategories, and so on, making it easy for your visitors to navigate even the largest sites. Lite customers are limited to 5 pages.

How long will it take to create my site and go live? 
 
We aim to have your site ready to go live within 14 working days of content being submitted. Your local consultant can help you gather the required information to ensure your site is created and live as quickly as possible.

Will my website be secure? 
 
Initially only you have access to the editing system. You can, if you wish, give other people access rights, and an advanced permissions management system allows you to control exactly what they can access and edit. 
 
Your website will be hosted on servers at a secure data centre in Manchester, with each server mirrored to another server that will take over in the event of a hardware failure. In addition, all sites are backed up daily to servers outside of the data centre to ensure you data is safe.

When your site goes live, we submit it to all of the major search engines and directories (including Google, Yahoo, Bing, and the Dmoz Open Directory Project).
